If this is not the first book of a series, copy the title page from another book in the series and modify text as needed while maintaining the styles.įont face should always be Times New Roman. The copyright document should have both the Smashwords copyright text and the non-Smashwords copyright text. Jutoh images update#
Load Template.jutoh in the root of the skydrive, copy the copyright text to your book, update as needed (book title, author, etc). If we have another book in the series, copy from that one instead as there will be less to update.
When Jutoh creates the TOC, it ads bookmarks to the top of each document. In the copyright document, since the first paragraph is removed for the Smashword version (in the example above, the Smashword version of the copyright is at the bottom), the Jutoh generated bookmark also disappears.
This means that we need to add a bookmark at the beginning of the first Smashwords paragraph using the exact same name as the Jutoh generated name. We have not yet at this point generated the TOC, but from my experience Jutoh uses auto_bookmark_table_of_contents_1, so create a bookmark at that location with that name.
